第十六章 忘我尋道
致虛極,守靜篤。萬物并作,吾以觀復(fù)。夫物蕓蕓,各復(fù)歸其根。歸根曰靜,是謂復(fù)命, 復(fù)命曰常,知常曰明。不知常,妄作兇。 知常容,容乃公,公乃全,全乃天,天乃道,道乃久,沒身不殆。
Knowing the Channel to TAO
Attain the real origin of the universe,
Maintain the deepest tranquility.
Observing both sides of the creation and evolution,
In this way, the self perceive the cycles of nonbeing and being.
All things take shape and become active, but in theend return to their roots.
Transcending to the root is called tracking back to serenity,
This is known as the nature’s destiny.
To return to the root means tranquillity. It iscalled returning to its destiny. Tofulfill one's destiny is to know the eternity. To know the eternity is called enlightenment.Not to know the eternal is to act blindly to result in disaster.
Knowing eternity he is all-embracing. Being all-embracinghe becomes impartial; Being impartial he can attain omnipresence, Beingomnipresent he is in accordwith Nature. Being in accord with Nature he canattain Tao.
Being in accord with Tao, he is eternal, Andhis whole life is free from harm.

關(guān)閉六門,回歸到寂靜的純宇宙意識(shí)能本源。從純宇宙意識(shí)能創(chuàng)造本源去體驗(yàn)從無到有, 萬事萬物的生成就清晰地呈現(xiàn)出來。盡管物質(zhì)世界的顯現(xiàn)紛繁復(fù)雜,最終歸結(jié)于道-純宇宙意識(shí)能本源?;貧w到寂靜本源,叫做回應(yīng)自然無私之秉性?;貞?yīng)自然無私之秉性便可以清楚地認(rèn)知宇宙公理及人類應(yīng)遵從的大德。認(rèn)知宇宙公理及人類應(yīng)遵從的大德, 人類便大徹大悟。不認(rèn)知宇宙公理及人類應(yīng)遵從的大德,縱欲妄為必然帶來惡果。
相反,通曉宇宙運(yùn)行常理才可以包容一切,包容才可以天下為公,天下為公才可以和諧平衡,和諧平衡才符合天理,符合天理才可以符合宇宙大道,符合宇宙大道才可以長久,終生免于危難。
