在《培訓(xùn)探密》中，蓋瑞?凱朗特總結(jié)了新入行的培訓(xùn)講師師經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的二十個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。凱朗特認(rèn)為，甚至一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的講師也有可能犯下同樣的錯(cuò)誤，這二十個(gè)錯(cuò)誤可以形象表述為十個(gè)“笨蛋”與十個(gè)“可憐的結(jié)局”，如表1-1與表1-2所示。 表1-1：十個(gè)“笨蛋” ?準(zhǔn)備不充分（Not being Prepared） ?內(nèi)容不充實(shí) （Inadequate Content） ?材料不規(guī)整（Not Delivering the goods） ?使受訓(xùn)者經(jīng)常厭煩 （Constantly boring the trainees） ?信息過(guò)多（Overload of information） ?誤解組織（Misreading the group） ?步驟簡(jiǎn)單（Poor Pacing） ?練習(xí)的遺漏（Omission of Practice） ?奇怪和令人困惑的言行表現(xiàn)（Odd or distracting Visuals or Verbals） ?對(duì)問(wèn)題把握不準(zhǔn)（Poor handling of questions） 把每句話的首個(gè)單詞組合起來(lái)，我們就會(huì)得到“笨蛋”(Nincompoop)———大多數(shù)講師喜歡這樣記憶! 表1-2：十個(gè)“可憐的結(jié)局”： ?缺乏計(jì)劃的表達(dá)（ Poorly Planned Visuals） ?不恰當(dāng)?shù)挠哪?（Offensive or inappropriate humour） ?不適當(dāng)?shù)拇┲╫ver-or under-dressing） ?超時(shí)講課 （Running Overtime） ?遲到（Running late for the Start） ?缺乏眼神交流（Eye-contact missing） ?總時(shí)背對(duì)大家 （Showing your back too often） ?低效地使用多媒體（Under-Utilising the media available） ?缺乏感染力（Lack of enthusiasm） ?沒(méi)有結(jié)論（Total lack of Conclusion） 若再把以上幾要點(diǎn)的首個(gè)字母連起來(lái)，且如果講師確實(shí)存在以上錯(cuò)誤，那么將會(huì)得到一個(gè)“可憐的結(jié)局(Poor result)”。
